I found out I've been driving around without insurance for a day. I told them I needed home and vehicle insurance effective immediately if they can beat the price the insurance agent I've been with for 15 years. They quoted me a cheaper price. But what they didn't tell me was, it wasn't effective until 7 days later. I told them to fix. They called me back and they said everything was good to go, that I was covered right away so I don't have to worry about anything. I cancelled my old insurance company effective immediately. The next day, I checked the paperwork they sent me and I saw it wasn't fixed. I called them again, at 9am, and told them to fix it. They told me ok, we'll get on it. 5 hours later, still no call and no insurance coverage. I ended up getting another insurance and spent half of my day off taking care of what the Claxton insurance agency should have done in the first place.
