My 81 year old mother spent over an hour trying to to get a live person to help get a situation resolved with motor vehicles. She ultimately had to hang up because no one would pick up. I am SO damn sorry I switched Insurance companies to save a few dollars. Customer service is a dying breed these days. No wonder my customers love me. I actually get things done for them!

Freak Accident on Apr 7th….their fault. Total loss…still no rental car???????? Still hearing the same story for a COUPLE WEEKS…meanwhile I’m out a WHOLE CAR….I’m totally convinced that NO ONE gives a flying F word about how their customers neglect caused me so much inconvenience.

Stop Do Not Use them "I strongly advise you not to use Homesite Insurance Company. As a property manager, I had to make a payment on behalf of a tenant who was required to carry insurance as per their lease. After making the payment, I requested a receipt but was denied. The underwriter was Homesite Insurance Company, and they refused to provide me with a receipt. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, my request was also denied. I tried to respond to the email sent to me, but the email address was not found. I asked for an email to get this in writing, but once again, my request was denied. If getting a simple receipt was such a hassle, I can't imagine the difficulty of filing a claim with them. Please be aware that this is a scam, and I strongly recommend that you avoid this company."

To start off, the place was difficult to find due to no signage on the outside of the building. Upon entering the building the signage was noticed but then entering the lobby, the department appeared closed (lights behind the desk were off or very low). A gentlemen came and asked me what I needed which I told him I have an 11am appointment and asked for my drivers license and left to go across the room to I’m assuming make a copy, then a lady came out from another door with a sandwich in her hand and eating (11am) and placed her sandwich on the desk and wiped her hands on her thigh and asked for my title to my car and then gave me a check. Entire process seemed very unprofessional to me. Not sure why I had to drive to Columbia to drop off my title to get a check when I have a local agent either.

This company is nothing but thieves., and liars who stole My money. I paid a down payment and the monthly payment, then I found another company whom was so much more reasonable, and I went to cancel the insurance policy way before it was even two weeks in to the policy, and they telling Me I am unable to get a refund, it was only over 7 days maybe ten days I went to cancel. They told Me I had to wait 60-90 days, then I tried to still cancel the policy, I was u able to get another policy w I th out canceling progressive policy. It was a hot mess. They wanted Me to pay almost 300 a month th or over 300 a month for car insurance. My car wasn't a brand new car not only that car was over 20 years old. They were trying g to get any monies paid out for cims back. So they jack up insurance prices and quotes.
